Ice Sheffield (Sheffield, United Kingdom)

Ice Sheffield opened in the Spring of 2003 at a cost of almost £16 million. It is a state of the art twin padded ice rink and the premier sporting venue of its type in the region. It is currently managed by Sheffield International Venues on behalf of Sheffield District Council. The venue is open daily to the public (except Mondays) and there are a variety of different events throughout the week including Simply Skate, Family Fun and Skoolz Out. Prices vary depending on the session but a standard typical price for a session is £4.50 per adult and £3.00 per child. Family tickets and season tickets are available. The hiring of ice skates is included in the price. Facilities at ice Sheffield include a restaurant, licensed bar and a burger bar.
