New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame (Dunedin, New Zealand)

New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame is located in Railway Station, Dunedin, since 1999, but it opened in 1990, and used to be in Wellington. This is a place where all sports people of New Zealand are honored. There is a hall of fame for several sports, distinguishing different personalities in each one. Throughout the Hall several sports areas can be seen, such as aviation, basketball, canoeing, disabled sports, golf, skiing, soccer, softball, tennis, swimming, squash, rugby league, motorsports, and several others. This place includes a museum, where visitors can visualize exhibitions about the greatest sports achievements. There are different objects, such as uniforms, trophies, medals, and others. The museum is open daily from 10 AM to 4 PM, except on Good Friday and Christmas Day. The New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame also has a gift shop.
