Primorski Park is the name of the largest park in the Balkans. It is situated on the seafront in the Black Sea city of Varna, Bulgaria’s second largest city and is known as Varna’s “Sea Garden”. Two towers stand at the entrance to the park, these date from 1939 and were designed by the architect George Popov. The park has many footpaths and flowerbeds and entry is free. It is popular destination for both locals and tourists that come here to pass away the time. Primorka Park is the location of several of Varna’s attractions including its zoo and Delfinarium. There are several cafes and restaurants within the park and also an amusement park for children with rides and bouncy castles.
