Rossbeigh Beach, about 2 miles from Glenbeigh, is a sandy beach with dunes located in County Kerry. This Blue Flag beach is part of a Special Area of Conservation and a Natural Heritage Area, established to protect the local flora and fauna. The water is safe for swimming, and a lifeguard is on hand during the warmer months. Water sports such as surfing and canoeing can also be practised there, along with horse-riding on the sands. Parking is available at Rossbeigh, as are toilet and shower facilities. Dogs must be kept on leads and any fouling must be cleaned up. Other facilities such as accommodation, restaurants and shops can be found at Glenbeigh.
