Saint Naum (Ohrid, Republic of North Macedonia)

Saint Naum monastery is situated at 29km from Ohrid and from 1 km. from Albanian border, on a high rocky over the lake. The monastic complex and church of St.Naum were built originally at the turn of the tenth century by the monk with the same name. Macedonians believe that you can hear the saint’s heartbeat by pressing an ear to his stone coffin inside the church.
