Troon Beach is a long, relatively wide expanse of sand along the Ayrshire coast. Divided by Troon Harbour, the Brassie shore lies to the north and the Troon shore to the south. Seaside facilities include a promenade with benches, a children’s playground, the Italian Gardens, the marina, and a dune reclamation/wildlife refuge area. Shops, pubs, and restaurants at the harbour and in Troon centre are within walking distance. Views take in the “Sleeping Warrior” of Arran in the north and Ailsa Craig in the south.
