When opened in 1967 Westshore Plaza was Tampa’s first fully air conditioned shopping destination. Located on the corner of West Shore and Kennedy Boulevards to the west of the city, the mall is anchored by four major department stores (Sears, JCPenney, Macy’s and Saks Fifth Avenue). Its single level accommodates a further 115 specialty stores, a fast food court, several full service restaurants and a fourteen screen AMC cinema.
