White Beach (Balabag, Philippines)

The White Beach is a 6-km length of white fine sandy coastline in Boracay. It is the most popular and commercialised section of the island which majority of the resorts, hotels, restaurants and other amenities and facilities such as bars, clubs, stores, malls, banks, ATM machines, and market are situated. Located at the central section of Boracay, the beach is also popular for annual summer events like beach volleyballs and boat race competition. The beach is divided into three sections: Stations 1, 2 and 3. Station 1 is a quiet area and where the Grotto (Virgin Mary) is located. Station 2 is situated at the central section of the beach - this is where the majority of the entertainment activities and a range of accommodations are found. Station 3 is the southside of the beach and a very popular area for foreign tourists.
