Situated between the Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach hotels, Wild Wadi Waterpark is a water theme park which extends across 12 acres. Its design is based on an Arabian oasis (wadi) and characteristics from Arabian folklore. It comprises of 24 rides and slides and has a wave pool which can be heated in winter or cooled in summer. In the park are retail and gift shops, restaurants and snack stands. The entrance fee for the waterpark includes access to all water rides, the use of rubber rings, life jackets and body boards. A cashless payment system is in place to eliminate the need for carrying cash around the park. Groups, corporate events and birthday parties are catered for. VIP Cabanas can be booked which offer, among other things, private seating, towels and a Fast Pass. The park opens daily at 11am and from November to February it closes at 6pm, from June to August it closes at 9pm closing at 7pm for the rest of the year.
