Winchester Train Station (Winchester, United Kingdom)

Winchester railway station is situated on Station Hill, not far from the city centre. The ticket office opens at 6am every day except Sunday, when it opens at 7am. It closes at 8.30pm every day except Saturday, when the closing time is 7.30pm. The station has a staffed information point, and staff are on the premises until 10pm every day. There are self-service ticket machines, and it is possible to collect tickets that have been bought in advance. The station has train services running to London Waterloo, Reading, Southampton, Bournemouth, Weymouth and Portsmouth operated by South West trains. Cross-country services also run to Oxford and Birmingham. Winchester station has a waiting room and seats on both platforms. Toilets and baby-changing facilities are available. There is cycle storage, a pay phone and a phone box. The station does not have trolleys. Just outside are a car park and a taxi rank. Bus stops are adjacent to the station. The station has a hearing loop, and disabled access is available at the counter. Wheelchairs are available, and there is a ramp for train access. Both platforms have level access and there is a national key toilet.
