You can find unique gifts in the shop and taste local produce in the café. Woodhorn is home to the Northumberland Archives housing everything from photographs, old maps and records. The oldest document in the records is more than 800 years old! Woodhorn is located in a country park and you can enjoy a leisurely walk around the QE2 and maybe spot some wildlife. Admission free. All-day parking charge of £3.50. Opening hours: Wednesday – Sunday 10am – 4pm (5pm April – September. Also open Mondays and Tuesdays in Northumberland school holidays). Archives open Wednesday – Saturday 10am – 4pm. Closed during the Christmas period. Access is excellent, but restricted in some buildings.
