Positive Reviews

The Grounds Says It All

The landscape of the hotel is a stunning attraction in themselves with flowers, a waterfall, and rose gardens. The mountain views are amazing as well. Be sure to check the basement where you will find plenty of memorabilia.

Strange Appearance

Though the hotel is somewhat in the middle of the town, it seemingly pops out of nowhere, which is strange but awesome in a way. It adds to the mystique and history of the hotel.

The Condos Are Lovely

Surprisingly, this is much like a well kept secret. There are condos right behind the hotel that are actually quite attractive. They are wonderfully decorated with fireplace and comfortable furnishings.

Negative Reviews

OK To Visit But Not To Stay

The hotel lacks amenities, the housekeeping is poor, dining options are almost zero, and there are various technical difficulties. It's just a plethora of things that makes staying at the hotel not live up to all the hype.

Take The Tour On Wikipedia

The tour is a bit expensive. To be honest, you could go around the hotel yourself with a print out from Wikipedia and be just as informed!

What A Pity

You may find your hotel room filled with such thick dusts you can write your name on it. A backed up sink and bathtub, broken furnishings, and a hotel basically trying to survive off the fame of several shots made of its exterior for a horror movie is about it. There is no air conditioning either. Worth a visit? Yes..Worth staying? No.
