Positive Reviews

Perfectly located for supreme views.

Merchant’s Manor is situated on a hilltop, therefore providing spectacular views over the nearby sea. Added to the views is the lovely sound of rolling waves to lull a weary traveler off to dreamland.

Unbelievable food served with a smile.

The head chef at The Brasserie deserves a special mention, as the food produced has become a local treasure. Locals flock to the Merchant’s Manor onsite restaurant, as should the hotel guests, as the locally sourced produce is served after simple cooking,

Large bath towels.

After a long day of walking around the town, nothing beats a hot shower, and a soft towel. At Merchant’s Manor, guests are provided with large bath towels (big enough to wear as a cape!) to engulf themselves in luxuriousness.

Anyone who knows anything about a beach, surely knows about seagulls. Unfortunately, seagulls have a specific call, unique to their kind, which can be a rather annoying sound to hear first thing in the morning.

No air-conditioning.

Unfortunately, the summer month’s can get a little warm at Merchant’s Manor, as air-conditioning is a yet to be added feature. Guests are supplied with fans upon request, to help alleviate some of the heat.
