Positive Reviews

Fair, basic accommodations for the low price

This is that hotel that you find or get when you really only need a bed and bathroom facilities, and don't want to spend a lot of money. It's a clean and simple space that has enough room for laying out your luggage, putting up your feet, and unwinding in between schedules and traveling.

It's nice dealing with courteous, friendly staff

It's pleasant and refreshing to deal with the staff at Ebb Tide Lodge. They welcome every guest like dear friends, and are always available for your questions. Whatever you'd like to know about the area or where to go, ask them, and they'll help point out the best things to do.

Quaint location when you need a stopover

Whether it's because you need a break from being on the road, or need to refresh before or after attending an event, this is a cute destination for that stop. The hotel is near some great scenic views, and interesting cultural and local sites.

Negative Reviews

Old and worn furnishings and linens disappoint

Budget accommodations don't have to mean drab, cookie cutter furnishings. The ambience is tired looking, and not different from what you'd find in many other hotels. The linens don't seem fresh, and you just feel the wear and tear in every part of the room.

Bathrooms are unclean and need to be redone

The bathrooms aren't always entirely refreshed and wiped down from the previous guests. Housekeeping is inconsistent, adding to the disappointment of the lower standards. Stains and mildewy smells are not uncommon.

Rooms have minimal towels and uncomfortable linens

Beds and pillows aren't very comfortable, so it's a gamble as to whether or not you'll be happy with staying here. There's few towels provided, and they're not consistently cleaned and replaced.
