Positive Reviews

Fantastic Owner

Of everything that guests love about Dun Roamin, perhaps the most beloved feature is its kind, personable owner. He will be glad to accommodate your needs in any way that he can, and if you're an Elvis fan, be sure to ask for a special show from your host, who is also a renowned impersonator of “The King.”

Convenient Location

If you'd like to visit Galway's city centre, it's just a ten-minute walk from the inn property. Salthill's famous seaside promenade is also nearby, and Connemara and the Burren are also within close proximity to Dun Roamin.

Lovely Breakfast

Your host will prepare a home-cooked breakfast to your liking during your stay at Dun Roamin. This is perfect if you intend to explore the coast or would like to take a tour of Galway but need a hearty breakfast before venturing out.

Negative Reviews

Rooms Are a bit on the Small Size

Most guests have found that the accommodations run a bit small. If, however, you just need a comfortable place to stay while visiting Galway, Dun Roamin will surely do, as long as you're not travelling with a large family or a great deal of luggage.

Could Use Some Décor Updates

You may find that some of the décor here is a bit tired-looking. Don't expect a place that's entirely fresh and modern in appearance; it's clear that some of Dun Roamin's décor is a bit outdated.

It Can Get Chilly

Depending on when you stay, you may find that the rooms do not warm up as much as you'd like. Your gracious host will be more than happy to provide you with plenty of blankets, however.
