Excellent, Well-maintained Facilities

The facilities around Hilton Lac-Leamy are excellent. Guests reported that the pool is beautiful, clean and warm, the fitness center is spacious with modern, working equipment and the cigar bar is a comfortable and relaxing area with a big screen TV.

Central Location Close to Downtown

Guests reported that the hotel is in a very central area that is close to the downtown core where many of the restaurants, shops and nightlife venues are. Despite this central location, the hotel feels like it is in the middle of nowhere with spectacular views of the lake.

High-quality Meals with High-quality Service

The meals are of a high standard with plenty of exquisitely-prepared, delicious and varied items to choose from. Guests reported a wide selection of breads, fruit, wine and many other items and also reported that the service was professional and accommodating.

Negative Reviews

There are Some Issues with the Guest Rooms

There are issues with the guest rooms at Hilton Lac-Leamy including sinks that don't drain properly, broken light fixtures and other appliances, stained furnishings and a lack of hot water.

Unhelpful Staff who Seem Like they Don't Care

Guests reported having to make several calls to front desk before issues were resolved, unaccommodating staff members who refuse to do anything extra beyond their regular duties and a lack of courtesy when dealing with guests. There were also reports of guests having a hard time finding staff members to assist them and staff who don't apologize when things go wrong.

Remote Area

Guests reported that the area was a little more remote than they were lead to believe and they had to take cabs everywhere.
