The Inn on the Wye occupies a splendid position overlooking the River Wye at Kerne Bridge.   It is an ideal base from which to explore and enjoy the beauty of the Wye Valley.

There are 12 rooms available, including a family suite which can sleep five, all are with en-suite shower rooms, and two have four-poster beds.

The Inn on the Wye is an ideal location for private functions, business meetings and weddings, it is licensed for civil ceremonies, and has a private wedding garden and a function room for up to 200 guests for a buffet, or 90 formal diners.

Freshly prepared food is supported by a good wine list and, there is varying selection of real ales. Sunday roast lunches with a choice of three classic roasts are a feature of the Inn on the Wye.

Goodrich Castle, Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye are all nearby.

Well Placed.

The Inn on the Wye is ideally located for those who wish to enjoy walking, cycling or exploring the Wye Valley by car. Guests found clean bed linen and towels, and a good supply of tea and a coffee in the room, together with toiletries.

Needs Renovation.

Guests commented that the road on which the Inn stands is rather busy, and kept them awake at night. Others were disappointed by the standard of decoration and furnishing in the room, finding it nothing like the pictures on the web-site. It was felt that

Breakfast was very slow in being served, due to lack of staff, and guests were unhappy to see dirty tea towels drying on the radiators in the dining area.

Infrastructure Woes.
