Positive Reviews

At the South Rim

Guests loved that the property is within walking distance of the Grand Canyon's South Rim, since it takes less than 15 minutes to make it to the popular attraction. The stop for the free bus lines is also right next to the property and within walking distance of the Canyon Village Market, the Grand Canyon National Park Headquarters and the Shrine of the Ages.

Comfortable and clean rooms

Guests liked that the rooms included comfortable beds, a refrigerator, a coffee machine, a phone and clean bathrooms.

Pleasant staff

The staff offers a friendly welcome, is professional, pleasant and always willing to answer questions.

Negative Reviews

Some rooms without air-conditioning

Some guests were surprised to find out that not every room included air-conditioning, so they recommended staying on the east side of the property, where all rooms can be cooled during the summer months.

Noise concerns

A few guests pointed out that the air-conditioners emitted a lot of noise, which makes sleeping a bit difficult. They also recommended getting a room away from the housekeeping room and the ice machines, as both areas were quite noisy. Some pointed out that the walls and floors appeared to be quite thin, therefore you'd hear other guests move around in their rooms or on the stairs.

Property quite spread out

The two-story buildings are quite spread, so you might have to drive a bit from the front desk to your room. A few guests noted that arriving at night makes it difficult to find your building, as there isn't a lot of lighting on the property.
