Negative Reviews

Annex rooms are too small for most guests.

This accommodation is split in two, a main building and an annex built from a converted barn. People staying in the Mews Annex, which contains the split-level suites, comment on how the rooms and en suite facilities are extremely compact with low ceilings

Guests report patchy Wi-Fi.

People staying at this lodge may roam the property looking for a Wi-Fi signal and still come up empty. Signal issues are not limited to the guest areas as there have been reports that even finding a connection in the reception area can be tricky.

Lodge’s pub is noisy.

The converted restaurant/pub that serves as the accommodation’s main dining spot is often full with both residents and locals; sometimes late into the night. Anyone staying here and looking to check in early will want to make sure they have a room far fro
