Positive Reviews

Amazing breakfast

According to many travellers, the breakfast at Casa Amada is full of various options, from cereals and yoghurt, to freshly baked croissants, but the dish that came out on top was the specialty crepes. Most visitors went back for a second helping.

Wonderful hosts

There have been some guests who did not have any plans for accommodation after their vacation was completed here, and needed assistance to make other bookings. The hosts were overly accommodating and made sure that their guests were safely booked at one of the other Casa Hotels.

Quiet area

If your preference is a quiet, serene atmosphere, then this hotel will suite you perfectly. Guests love the early morning breakfast time, where you can relax on the terrace, overlooking the El Malecon, and enjoy your coffee too.

Negative Reviews

Internet is slow

Generally speaking guests say that the Internet connection is slow in this particular area, so it would be to your advantage to bring your own Internet cable if you rely on staying in touch, however you could try Hotel Nacional, ust a short walk from Casa Amada.

A bit far from the city

You will not be able to walk from the hotel in to the city centre, as guests say it's a bit too far. Old Havana has also been described as too much of a far walk, however if you do need to visit the American Embassy, it is conveniently right across the street.

Weak shower pressure

Visitors have admitted that the trickle of water that you might have to call your shower is not always the case. On the odd occasion the shower pressure is a little disappointing, and produces very little water, but luckily the water is always lovely and hot.
