Positive Reviews

Very good food at the restaurant and at breakfast.

Guests spoke very highly of the food offered by the hotel. Many reviews specifically noted the excellent and hearty breakfast buffet.

Beautiful and convenient location.

Reviewers had nothing but great things to say about the location in historic Honfleur. Guests appreciated the easy walking distance from a myriad of eateries, shops, nearby landmarks, and the beach. Many were also very fond of the port town itself.

Excellent and attentive staff.

The staff is friendly, professional, and highly attentive to the needs of their guests. Many reviews spoke very highly of the hotel employees and their willingness to go the extra mile to make sure everybody was cared for.

Negative Reviews

Rooms are on the small side.

Guests have noted that the rooms are considerably smaller than many are used to, owing to the building's age and previous use as fishermen's quarters. However, other reviews have stated that the small rooms are cozy and that the size is not a huge problem.

Can be difficult for those with limited mobility.

Along with small rooms, the very old design of the building makes accessibility a problem for individuals who have problems getting around. Guest specifically cited the very narrow staircases, and although there is a lift, it's very small.

Be prepared for the morning street cleaners.

A few reviews have commented on the street cleaners that come through in the morning and the noise that the trucks create. Guests have suggested that ear plugs are enough to deal with this, and several have also positively stated that the streets of Honfleur are indeed very clean!
