About Fuat Pasa Yalisi

Fuat Pasa Yalisi, with its majestic architecture and breath-taking features such as glass covered hallways, transports guests back to the era of the Ottoman empire. With stunning views over the Bosphorus, this characterful hotel is a popular venue for weddings and corporate events.

The exquisite carpeted bedrooms boast antique-style trimmings, such as golden mirrors. None is more lavish though than the Sultan Suite, equipped with private Jacuzzi and sauna. All, however, come with modern facilities such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs and some boast sea views.

Fuat Pasa Yalisi provides memorable event venues, such as the Glass Salon and the Pasha Conference Hall. There is also a large outdoor pool.

A buffet breakfast is laid on each morning, whilst the Pasa Restaurant serves traditional Turkish dishes, as well as French and Italian meals.

The Sadberk Museum is just a four-minute walk away, whilst the Life Park concert venue and the Istinye Park shopping centre are five and eight kilometres away respectively.

Positive Reviews

Beautiful location by the Bosphorus

Guests love the pleasant surroundings where the hotel is situated and its breathtaking views over the Bosphorus. The neighbourhood seems safe with nice promenades available along the waterfront and the Sadberk museum just a short walk away.

Historic building, bursting with character

It is little wonder that this hotel is a popular venue for special events, in particular weddings. Guests are awestruck by its incredible architecture and regal decoration, reminiscent of the Ottoman empire with its Sultans and Pashas. Created from an ancient mansion, it has an amazing ambience and authentic feel.

Friendly and supportive staff

Weary travellers are quite impressed with the welcome they receive at this hotel, and often go one to say that the staff take good care of them for the full duration of their visit.

Negative Reviews

Events can be disturbing

The hotel's popularity for weddings means that other guests regularly have to put up with disturbances well into the night. The hotel is frequently taken over by wedding guests, with multiple events even running at the same time. Apart from the inevitable overcrowding, guests find sleep difficult with loud music and festivities going on until the early hours.

Questionable value

Guests often wonder whether the hotel is overpriced for what they get and if they are simply paying for a nice environment and view. The rooms are often considered too small and cramped, whilst breakfast, which is not viewed as being very good quality on the whole, is not even included. On top of it all, the hotel is also considered to be quite far from the tourist centre of Istanbul.
