Positive Reviews

Lovely beachside location

The hotel's biggest attraction is its superb position, just a few metres from the beach. Guests love being able to get down to the water’s edge and enjoy a pleasant stroll on the sands within minutes of leaving their room. They also like being able to make free use of chairs and parasols on the beach. There are many great restaurants, shops and bars along the sea front too, and the are feels quite safe.

Great value accommodation

Guests are quite satisfied with the value for money this hotel offers. The rooms, whilst basic, are air-conditioned and cleaned thoroughly, with housekeeping passing by daily. Some also offer exceptional ocean views.

Decent food selection

Those dining in the hotel’s restaurant seem to appreciate the experience and the tasty Peruvian cuisine served up. The complimentary breakfasts, however, are often the most memorable part of guests’ stay here. There is reportedly a wide selection of delicious foods offered in an extensive buffet each morning.

Negative Reviews

Unfriendly staff

Customer service is certainly not at the top of the list of this hotel’s best attributes. Guests find the front desk personnel to be particularly unfriendly and unwilling to help. They complain that not only are they not very proactive, failing to greet guests or ask them if everything is ok, they are also very glum and unwelcoming in general.

Five floors and no lift

One of the biggest gripes for travellers staying here is the lack of a lift. They find it quite unbelievable that a five-storey hotel makes its guests lug their baggage up four or five flights of stairs to get to their room. They say it can become quite exhausting after a while and clearly unsuitable for the elderly or those with young children.
