Positive Reviews

Super breakfast and nibbles

The breakfast that is served here is full of variety with muffins, pastries, fresh fruits, and yogurts just some of the items available. Best of all though is the afternoon tea with cake and then the evening cheese platter with port and brandy. A perfect ending to your day.

Free bicycles and canoes

If you're feeling adventurous, then there are bikes and canoes that are free for guests use. You can explore the area from the saddle or take in the coastline from the water. It's a great bonus to have these extras that most other hotels charge premium rates for.

Charming owners and property

This place is picture postcard perfect with many guests commenting how quiet and peaceful the area is. They are also impressed by the owners' friendliness and the effort made to make everyone feel right at home.

Negative Reviews

Total renovation needed

Guests feel that this place has so much potential but that it is falling well short of expectations. The place is in need of some renovation work with all of the rooms showing signs of wear and tear. The damp and musty smell also needs to be dealt with.

Pack your earplugs

The walls at this hotel are quite thin, so the chances are that you will hear your neighbor snoring through the night. If you are a light sleeper, then you best pack those earplugs and be ready for a rough night.

Some rooms have terrible views

There are some fantastic views to the front of the hotel, but this cannot be said for the rooms that overlook the parking lot. Make sure when you check in that you are given the room you booked and be sure to choose an oceanfront if you can afford it.
