Positive Reviews

Working farm in gorgeous Lake District area

As the name says, it turns out this bed and breakfast is actually a working farm with chickens and cattle and guests seemed to feel that this was a very fitting place for a Lake District B&B stay, especially when they themselves were visiting for rural fell walking. Furthermore, the hill country views were said to be fantastic and the town centre of Keswick was also said to be close by for those wanting to head out for dinner or to a pub.

Tasty breakfasts, fresh milk, lovely family hosts

People were delighted to be served farm-fresh milk here, and on top of this, the breakfasts were said to be hearty, tasty, made fresh from local ingredients and included cereals in addition to their cooked meals. On another note, the family running the B&B were thought to be lovely people, very welcoming and great for suggesting local tips for hiking or eating out.

Clean, cosy and relaxing quarters

Reviews left by previous guests indicate that the rooms here were very comfortable,  spotlessly clean and kitted out with cosy linen. In addition to this, some people even mentioned that they were able to get some washing taken care of and the sense of calm and relaxation people felt while staying here was apparently worth its weight in gold.
