Positive Reviews

Flawless service

The hands-on owners of this little B&B are big on providing absolutely sterling service and it seems that no attention to detail is spared here. Past guests report nothing but a warm reception at this boutique property. If that wasn't enough, arrival procedures here consist of a cup of tea and a huge slice of home-made carrot cake. The all-around atmosphere also comes highly-commended; guests absolutely loved this property's spacious rooms as well as the light and bright - if a bit quirky - décor. Whether they are here to explore the great outdoors or looking for a romantic weekend away, the standard of refurbishment and thoughtful touches here have definitely not gone unappreciated by guests.

Central for Keswick and beyond

While this property is tucked away on the outskirts of Keswick, guests were also much impressed by the overall location of this B&B. Those heading into town were very pleased to find that the heart of Keswick was only a few minutes' walk away. For those who just wanted to get out and explore the Lake District, cyclists, hikers and ramblers were also happy to note that the B&B is situated at the head of a number of local trails and paths.

Outstanding breakfasts

Not only do the hosts here offer a warm welcome, it also turns out that they cook up a mean breakfast. Guests were absolutely delighted to be served local bacon and sausages as well as free-range eggs with their English breakfasts. While the hot options were good, the home-made Greek yoghurt and granola were absolutely rave-worthy. All-in-all, this is just another outstanding example of the excellent service offered by the hosts at this Keswick B&B.
