Positive Reviews

Friendly and caring owners

Guests note that this property is both owned and run by a very dedicated couple. They are said to be exceptionally friendly, with guests saying they receive a warm welcome on arrival and caring attention throughout their stay. Reviews suggest one of the hosts is a professional musician, with music often a big part of a stay here.

Beautiful and tranquil setting

It hardly comes as a surprise, since guests typically book at this property to get away from it all, but typically the first thing they note in their reviews is that the setting here is perfect for that purpose. It is found to be very quiet and beautiful, with the cottages and other products of human labour seemingly effortlessly blending in with the lovely gardens and the impenetrable forest beyond. Guests report they typically leave both calm and refreshed.

Amazing (vegan) food

Guests are constantly raving about the food at the in-house cafe in their reviews. While it seems the property attracts many vegetarian and vegans; all guests, whatever their dietary preferences, are blown away by the food. It is typically found to be not only delicious, but to be expertly prepared as well. Moreover, the attractive plating and vibrant colours are said to add to the whole experience.

Negative Reviews

Communal bathrooms could be improved

Those staying in accommodation that uses the communal bathrooms says these need to be improved. They are found to be bit too rustic and often lack sufficient hot water.
