Good service and free light breakfast

Travellers spoke highly of the friendly, obliging and welcoming members of staff who frequently went the extra mile to offer their local knowledge and make guests feel at home. Many guests also welcomed the free continental breakfast.

Pleasant rooms and facilities

The clean and updated rooms were reportedly nothing fancy but did feature pleasant colourful decor as well as all the basics for a comfortable stay, including cosy beds and effective air-conditioning. Visitors also liked the trendy decor in the reception area where breakfast was served. The roof terrace was another bonus as guests could admire views of the Kuala Lumpur skyline. Many travellers commented that they found the hotel’s rates relatively inexpensive for an accommodation option in the centre of the city.

Excellent location

Not only did reviewers appreciate the proximity of convenience stores and dining options in the surrounding blocks, but also they enjoyed the easy access to public transport for hassle-free exploration of Kuala Lumpur with its many landmarks, shopping districts and attractions. Moreover, it was a short stroll from Chinatown with its excellent street food stalls and sit-down restaurants.

Negative Reviews

Claims of drawbacks in some rooms

Maintenance concerns over weak water pressure were raised by some visitors, while others wished there had been little extras like fridges or slippers provided in their rooms. According to several critics, some rooms had few windows or none at all. Others remarked that certain rooms were a bit cramped.

Mixed feelings about free Wi-Fi

Even though many guests welcomed the free Wi-Fi network, some critics claimed they encountered a patchy signal on the upper floors from time to time.

Smells and noises were annoying

Certain rooms were occasionally said to be exposed to street noise or even traffic emissions, in particular on the lower floors.
