Positive Reviews

Extensive grounds and activities

Most guests were clearly impressed with the facilities available at the campground. They describe a place that isn't merely somewhere to stay for the night, but a true resort, with an incredible array of activities. Families with younger children were perhaps the happiest of all guests, with many activities available for their children.

Close to Lake George

Guests were perfectly happy with the distance between the campground and Lake George. While it seems most spent the bulk of their time at the campground, those who wanted to travel into the town did not feel they had far to go.

Grounds were well maintained

Most guests felt that the groundskeepers were doing an excellent job keeping the gardens and other outside areas in the campground looking very neat and clean.

Negative Reviews

Standard of accommodation varies a lot

Reading through the reviews, it became very obvious that the standard of accommodation varies a great deal, both between one type of unit and another and also between different units of the same type. Some guests were bitterly disappointed to get what they called and old unit that had clearly not seen a renovation in quite a while. On the other hand, other guests with renovated units were perfectly happy.

Cabins were a bit small

Many guests staying in one of the cabins remarked that they were quite a bit smaller than they expected. They definitely felt as if they and the rest of their party were being crammed in there, with not much space available per person.

RV's stands too close to each other

Those who had brought their own RV's along mentioned that they felt the stands were too close together, resulting in them being able to hear even normal sounds from the adjacent RV's in their own.
