    The rooms have been described as stylishly decorated with exposed brickwork and original beams . Guests complimented the quality of the furniture and fixtures stating that the overall decor of their suites was tasteful and well-presented. If you prefer period features to ultra-modern design then you will certainly be impressed with these interiors. .

    Guests who stayed at the hotel were pleased to find lots of restaurants and bars only a short walk away. Although there is a restaurant on the premises those who wanted to dine out found it very convenient being so close to the local amenities. Many also decided to explore the local attractions on foot and found it convenient not having to drive. .

    The front-desk staff were described as friendly and approachable, by many who stayed here. Those who had issues and requests said that the staff dealt with them quickly and effectively and that they were always on hand to offer useful tips and advice with regards to the local area. .

    The soundproofing was described as inadequate with guests objecting to being able to hear everything going on in the adjoining suites whilst those on the lower floors said that they were disturbed by footsteps of the occupants above them. .

    The service at breakfast was described as somewhat chaotic with guests reporting that they struggled to attract the attention of the staff so that they could place their orders. Orders objected to food items running out and not being replenished on time. .

  • Too much light in the rooms.

    The lack of blinds and black-out curtains prevented some guests from sleeping as they said that too much light was coming in through the windows. .
