Positive Reviews

Good for convention center

If you’re visiting Las Vegas for the convention center then this hotel is an ideal location It is connected to the convention center so you can make it to your meeting quickly and efficiently It’s also right off The Strip so everything is a little quieter than the resorts directly on it.

Historic property

Because this hotel has been around for a long time it has seen multiple owners and renovations Through it all, it keeps some historical aspects which really add to the atmosphere Elvis Presley was this hotel’s top performer many years ago and they still have recognition of this for you to see.

Save gas and time

The monorail is located right outside of the hotel, making it a great choice for those not wanting to drive The Strip You won’t have to worry about finding a parking spot, paying for valet at restaurants or dealing with the raucous street crowds The monorail is a perfect transportation alternative and it’s stop at the hotel cannot be beat.

Negative Reviews

Smaller gym

The gym is pretty small for such a large hotel There are very few machines and their free-weights section is just as abysmal The area should suffice for a beginner, but not an advanced exercise guru.

Better food options elsewhere

Dining options onsite could use an upgrade The service staff seems tired and the food lacks quality for the price Hop on the monorail instead and dine at a local option There are so many eateries to choose from on The Strip that you won’t be disappointed.

Not looking for a sales pitch

After waiting in long lines to check in you will want to head straight up to your room to relax On your way up, however, you will be bombarded by different sales pitches from Westgate timeshare agents Once is enough, Westgate!
