Comfy & cosy rooms, free parking, decent value

According to reviews, the beds here are really quite comfortable, while the rooms were also said to have nice linen and a cosy style. Guests also appreciated being able to make use of free parking on site and thought the overall value for money to be decent.

Quiet spot, short walk to downtown Launceston

It seems that this bed and breakfast has an excellent location, with guests mentioning that they could walk to downtown Launceston's many shops, cafes and restaurants in next to no time. Nevertheless, it appears that it is a quiet residential spot away from the city hubbub, surrounded by a pleasant garden.

Negative Reviews

Needs maintenance work and better cleaning

Many of those who stayed mentioned that their room was in need of some maintenance work, in terms of worn furnishings, missing light bulbs and overall dated aesthetics. Moreover, the standard of housekeeping here could apparently be improved, with guests noting that their lodgings were in need of a good dust and vacuum.

Not always someone available at reception

Guests were occasionally unhappy to find that they could not find someone to attend to their queries at the reception, even during the opening hours listed for this bed and breakfast.
