The tranquil setting suited those who came here to relax and get away from busy city life. Sitting outside on the terrace and admiring the greenery of the surrounding countryside was thoroughly appreciated by many.

Spacious and well-equipped rooms.

The rooms were said to be large and equipped with all the necessary amenities as well as the added extras such as fluffy towels, complimentary water and toiletries as well as fast internet access. Many were complimentary about the size and comfort of the beds as well as the equally spacious bathrooms.

Fresh and tasty breakfasts.

Guests complimented the choice on offer at breakfast stating that there were many appetising items available at the buffet including croissants, fruit salads and yogurts. Those who had the cooked full English breakfast said that their food was well-prepared and made using fresh ingredients.

Negative Reviews

Poor soundproofing.

The soundproofing has been described as inadequate with many complaining that they could hear noise from the adjoining suites including televisions and other guests talking as well as squeaky floor boards from the rooms above them.

Rooms showing their age.

Some were disappointed to find that the decor of their rooms was rather tired with old fashioned furniture and worn upholstery. Guests objected to marks on the walls and the skirting boards and dated bathrooms with basic and old fashioned fixtures and fittings.

Slow service.

Guests were critical of the service at the on-site bar describing it as very slow with many having to wait a long time to receive their orders. The bar was often unmanned with guests having to go in search of the staff.
