Positive Reviews

Ideal location for walkers.

If you don’t fancy driving your car around the area, then this is a perfect base for exploring Lincoln. All the most popular tourist sites are within easy walking distance as are the local shops and restaurants.

Lovely house in a nice setting.

You’ll feel right at home in this guest house as it really does feel just like home. The garden is lovely to sit out in, and the house is very tastefully decorated if a little quirky. The rooms are spick and span, and you’ll have no cause for complaint wi

Friendly owners extend a warm welcome.

The owners and staff of this guest house are exceptional in that they treat you like one of the family from the moment you arrive. They have lots of friendly advice but are not too pushy about offering it.

Negative Reviews

Towels should be replaced.

The towels provided at the hotel are a little on the small side especially for larger folk, and they are also a little hard. It’s probably time that the owners invested in a new supply as these small things make a big difference to your stay.

Driveway not good for nervous drivers.

The driveway at the guest house is narrow and quite steep so if you’re a nervous driver, then it’s best to let the owners park up for you. You also need to leave your keys in case your car is in the way which some don’t feel comfortable doing.

Breakfast could be better.

You have to help yourself to breakfast each morning at this guest house which isn’t a terrible idea, but many guests would like the option of a cooked breakfast. It’s not a major complaint but something you should be aware of before booking.
