Very good location and has several restaurants nearby

The hotel is well situated close to many amenities Restaurants and pubs are close by and you can easily access them on foot The area is very quiet and peaceful and guests enjoyed a good nights’ rest There are plenty of attractions nearby such as the British Museum.

Visible signage makes the hotel easy to locate

Guests who were visiting the hotel for the first time found it very easy to spot The signage is clear showing the hotel’s entrance The hotel is also close to popular streets and thus locating it was quicker.

The breakfast menu was very tasty and quite varied

The dishes prepared were very delicious and guests enjoyed the convenience of having breakfast delivered to their rooms.

The hotel’s appearance can at times seem shabby

Some guests felt that the hotel needed refurbishment The exterior of the hotel was seen by some as resembling a dilapidated building The curtains and carpets were also thought to be showing signs of wear and tear The furniture and decor was dated and the paint appeared to be peeling in some rooms.

Lack of cleanliness in the rooms and public areas

A few guests complained about the state they found their rooms in when they first checked in Some beds were shoddily made and the sheets and pillowcases had stains while the bathrooms were barely cleaned and with leaky and rusty faucets The corridors also needed some extra cleaning Some rooms had a musty smell.

The reception staff are intimidating and unhelpful
