Positive Reviews

Filling breakfast a good start

The breakfast is quite good for what you might consider a budget hotel There is plenty to choose from and even though the breakfast room can get quite busy, the staff are on hand to make sure there is plenty of food.

Ideal location for everything

No matter what you’re doing in London this hotel has to be the perfect spot and is so convenient There are two nearby tube stations, bus stops, the train station and so many shops and restaurants that you can’t help but wonder how it is not more expensive.

A cheap hotel in London?

Some guests were expecting something akin to Fawlty Towers when they arrived but were pleasantly surprised by both the hotel and the staff For something so cheap and central, this has to be the bargain hotel of the century.

Negative Reviews

Small rooms that are a little grubby

The rooms are perfectly functional in this hotel and the beds very comfy but the walls are marked and the paint peeling It’s cheap for such a central location but it really needs a facelift.

No free Wi-Fi anywhere

Most hotels charge for Wi-Fi access but usually the public areas are free Not in this hotel, they’ll charge you per hour and unfortunately, it’s not cheap Considering the amount of money paid for a small room that needs a lick of paint, to be asked to pay for Wi-Fi was a bit much for some guests.

Unfriendly staff with poor attitude

Average customer service might not bother some, but the staff here have been noted to be below average Guests would have preferred to have been asked how they were or if they enjoyed their stay.
