Green surroundings.

The place is surrounded by greenery and breathtaking views and is just the place for quiet walks and treks and to spend a relaxed time. For golfers, there is a golf club three kilometres from the pub.

Good accommodation.

The non-smoking rooms are airy and look neat and new with a recent makeover. They are equipped with television with satellite channels and electric kettle. All rooms have central heating. Open windows allow fresh and invigorating country air. Bathrooms are en suite and provided with shower.

Helpful staff.

The staff at the pub is friendly and helpful. There is a garden and a play area for children. Wi-Fi facilities are available throughout. The pub arranges horse riding for guests on site for a fee. Breakfast comprises of basic cereal and croissants and is served in the rooms. But there is a restaurant and bar on the ground floor where traditional British cuisine is served. The pub has a friendly country ambience. Car parking is available free of charge.

Negative Reviews

Ill maintained bathrooms.

Bathroom maintenance is not paid importance and they are dated and mouldy and smell bad too. There is not even a mirror in the bathroom. The shower is just a hose attached to a tap and shower head is not in proper working condition. The fittings and plumbing in the bathroom are in very bad shape.

Small rooms and uncomfortable beds.

The rooms are so small, they resemble a hostel. The mattresses are hard with springs coming out and very uncomfortable to sleep on. Some of the electrical wires are precariously exposed over the bed.

Minimal and stale breakfast.

Breakfast is very minimal and not very palatable either. Milk cartons provided are opened and half empty.
