Positive Reviews

Rooftop terrace is great in summer

Several guests mention the rooftop terrace as being a highlight of the hostel, even if they travelled in winter. But it is especially praised by travellers in the warmer months, where they describe it as the ideal place to hang out in the sunshine while socialising with the other guests.

Girls only kitchen

Mentioned surprising often, many female travellers are delighted to report that there was a female only kitchen near the female dorms. They found this quite convenient.

Wonderful staff

By far the most mentioned positive aspect of the hostel was that its staff members were very friendly and helpful at all times. Many guests report that they found the assistance offered both useful and delivered in a genuine, unpretentious fashion.

Negative Reviews

No air conditioning or fan

Given that they booked into budget accommodation most were perhaps not surprised that there was no air conditioning. But it gets hot, very hot, in Malaga in the summer, and they felt that the dorms needed at least a fan to try to keep things tolerable. But there were no fans either.

Some reports of bed bugs

Perhaps a bit of an alarming assertion, but a few guests here and there did claim to have experienced bed-bugs during their stay at the hostel. It is impossible to confirm these reports, but guests should be aware of the possibility.

Bunk beds appear a bit rickety

A couple of guests mention that the appearance of the bunk beds doesn't inspire confidence that they will remain intact through the course of the night. In reality they do seem to be sturdy enough, but appearances were a bit worrying.
