About Da Baranin

Overlooking the sea, Da Baranin is a B&B in a heritage building that is right in the heart of the picturesque 'Cinque Terre' town of Manarola. Warm hospitality and evocative stucco interiors complement its glorious location.

All of the simple guest rooms here feature high ceilings and tile floors, with many providing balconies and sea views. Safes and flat-screen TVs are also included, as are mini fridges and hot drink facilities. Apartments with kitchenettes are available too.

Guest can relax out on a pretty terrace offering panoramic views. Free Wi-Fi is accessible in the reception area, on the terrace, and in most of the accommodations.

A rich and varied breakfast is served each day, often out on the terrace. A number of bars and eateries lay within 500 metres of the B&B, including the highly-rated Trattoria dal Billy restaurant just two minutes' walk along Via Rollandi.

Da Baranin is 150 metres from Manarola train station, and 400 metres from Manarola Marina.

Positive Reviews

Glorious setting with stunning views

The vast majority of guests who stay here love the B&B's setting close to the top of this most charming of small coastal towns. Reviewers appreciate the fact it's much quieter than the bottom end of town, and love the jaw-dropping views of the mountains, vineyards and sea from the terrace and balconies. Being so close to the area's famed walking trails pleases hikers no end as it makes exploring the four other Cinque Terre villages a breeze.

Excellent hospitality

Reviews suggest the good hosts who own and run this B&B do a consistently fine job of keeping visiting guests happy. They are, impressed travellers observe, exceptionally warm and caring hosts who stop at nothing to ensure those staying with them have a truly memorable holiday.

A really great breakfast every day

It's fair to say the breakfasts served up here each morning go down very well indeed with reviewers. They are, satisfied diners remark, a real treat, as the fresh pastries, meat spreads, cereals, and hot and cold drinks are all top-notch. The coffee is deemed a highlight, as are the eggs which can be cooked any way a guest likes. Visitors say eating out on the terrace with the spectacular views for company tops things off perfectly.
