The Royal Mansour transforms a visit to Marrakech into a magical odyssey. In this luxury design hotel, guests do not stay in a room, nor a suite - they bask in their own majestic riad.

Adding to the mystique, each riad is accessed by staff through a series of tunnels. Like the traditional Moroccan palaces, they have a central open courtyard on the ground floor and a roof terrace with stunning views. Each is uniquely decorated, with an open fireplace and private plunge pool and complimentary Wi-Fi.

The Royal Mansour has two opulently designed pool areas – one inside and one outside. There is also a luxury spa and personalised butler service.

Fine dining with a French and / or Moroccan influence is available in the three exquisite restaurants.

Fantasy experience

Mind-blowing experience Pretty much all of the guests would agree that the Royal Mansour deserves its place amongst the leading hotels in the world. Like being in a real palace, you are sure to be awestruck by the incredible design - the intricate wooden carvings, idyllic gardens and marble floors. Most would say that they have never experienced anything like it. For some it is simply the best hotel they have ever witnessed.

Incredible staff

In such an exquisite establishment, you may expect the staff to have an attitude to go with it. Not a bit of it. Guests will testify that you will be treated like royalty, with the upmost respect and consideration from the humble yet well-trained and attentive staff. You won't need to look far to get their attention either - many can't get over how many staff there are in relation to the number of guests!

Exceptional food

The food in the three fine-dining restaurants is simply sublime. According to many guests, they rank amongst the best in the country.

Negative Reviews

Prices fit for royalty

As you would expect, staying in your own palace doesn't come cheap. A few guests think it is a bit too over-priced.

Slow service

The pace of life in a Moroccan riad can be a little bit too leisurely for some guests, who find the service just a tad too slow.

A bit over-rated?

Amongst the rave reviews and accolades, you may pick up a few whispers claiming that perhaps some of the facilities could be a bit over-rated. The swimming pool - voted amongst the best in the world - and the spa are perhaps given too much praise. These faint voices, however, are easily drowned out by the admiring majority.
