Positive Reviews

Lovely Location, Grounds & Hotel

The location is excellent, within a short ride of the activities and dining in the main downtown 'Golden Zone' area. The grounds of the hotel are kept up beautifully and are definitely worth a stroll through during your stay. You can play tennis, have a swim or grill out and enjoy a picnic on ample grassy areas. The hotel itself is basic, although clean and inviting, with a decent variety of tasty items served on the daily breakfast buffet.

Friendly, Approachable Staff

You'll like the staff here. Very friendly and ready to chat, while also efficient and willing to go the extra mile for your comfort.

Ocean Views and Sounds

Some areas of the building overlook the sea and if you're lucky in your room position, you'll find yourself lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean waves crashing at night.

Negative Reviews

Noisy Nights

Being  a somewhat centrally situated spot, you may hear some noise at night. People passing by and traffic noise is audible at times. Bring your earplugs.

Room Regrets

Some rooms have been remodeled more recently than others but all are offered at the same rate. If you prefer a newer renovation, ask at time of booking. None feature hair dryers or irons, so bring your own if you'll need them. Hot water runs out quickly during showers sometimes, and it's possible a few bugs might find their way in as well.

Wi-Fi Woes

Some rooms in the hotel truly won't get Wi-Fi. Your best bet is to try the common areas and the lobby if you need to get online, although there may be some days without internet access at all.
