Positive Reviews

Tasty breakfast

Guests say the breakfast here is tasty and enjoyable, with ample variety. It's a full English breakfast that guests indicate satisfies far greater than the limited continental fare available elsewhere.

Welcoming staff

Guests indicate that the staff at Tregorran are welcoming. They provide for a wonderful stay, and guests specifically note that Danny and Helen are awesome and go out of their way to attend to the needs of everyone that stays at this destination.

Clean and comfortable

The rooms at this hotel are looked upon fondly by guests. They describe the accommodations as clean and comfortable, if not overly spacious. Also, guests appreciate that each room comes with a sea or village view.

Negative Reviews

Breakfast window tight

While the food here is regarded as tasty and the breakfast experience is largely well-regarded, there is one complaint: Some guests wish that the breakfast window wasn't so tight. Breakfast does not last long, and if you aren't up early in the morning, it's apparent that you'll likely miss it. Guests wish the breakfast time was extended so that those late-to-rise could still enjoy the full English breakfast the hotel is known for.

Tough climbing hill

The hotel is set on a hill, and guests say that this makes traversing distances by foot difficult. The Mevagissey village is only a five-minute walk, but guests note that walking back up the steep hill on the return trip is difficult. This makes visiting the town and harbour a more difficult prospect than some suspect upon booking.

Shower temperature controls tricky

A small, isolated complaint pertains to the shower. A few guests note that it can be difficult to properly control the shower temperature.
