About Travelodge Suites Moncton

This modest budget hotel lies adjacent to the Trans-Canada Highway on the north eastern fringes of the city. A fitness suite and complimentary breakfast are the $Hotelname hotel’s biggest draws.

Smart accommodations with modern decor feature work desks and flat-screen TVs, as well as mini-fridges and tea/coffee-making equipment. Suites – some with sofa beds – add separate living areas and wet bars.

The complimentary hot breakfast is offered in a homely kitchen/dining area. Vending machines proffer snacks and drinks.

The $Hotelname hotel is a six-minute walk from Casino New Brunswick and a mile from both the Magic Mountain Water Park and the Magnetic Hill Zoo.

Positive Reviews

Ground-floor rooms have exterior entrances

The fact that the ground level accommodations at this hotel have exterior entrances which open out directly on to the car park can be a big plus as it enables you to unpack and pack-up your car in double-quick time. Very handy if you’re on a tight schedule.

Good overnight stop for long haul road-trippers

It’s easy to see why this hotel has become a well-known spot for long-distance road-trippers to break-up their journey at. After all, it’s right next door to the Trans-Canada highway, offers easy access rooms (above) and provides a decent – and hot – free breakfast.

Spacious suites are just the job

If you like to spread out in your surroundings then do yourself a favour and opt for one of the spacious suites up on the first floor. The ones with sofa beds afford especially good value if you’re travelling as part of a group.

Negative Reviews

Breakfast room is too small

The homely little breakfast room here is fine and dandy when there are just a few guests milling around. Get more than ten people in there at the same time though and things start to feel pretty squashed, pretty quickly. Not ideal.

No restaurants close by

That’s right, you’re going to have to use your car whenever you feel peckish. The nearest food joints are McDonalds and Tim Hortons, which are both a little over half-a-mile away.

Smoke-free??

This hotel maintains that it is a 100% non-smoking property. Despite this, there are areas within the property which smell really quite heavily of cigarette smoke. Not good.
