Positive Reviews

Garden and terrace are lovely

If you're lucky enough to stay here during a bout of fine weather then make sure you take full advantage of the outdoor space at the rear of the property. Eating breakfast on the shady terrace whilst looking out over the lovely Mediterranean-inspired garden is a real treat.

Nicely balanced location

The great thing about this hotel is that it is located in a quiet little street free of hustle and bustle. However, it is also within walking distance of the city centre and well served by public transport so you can easily get in the thick of the action whenever you feel the urge.

Late check-out is very civilised

There is nothing quite like being able to enjoy a nice lie-in on your last day on holiday, especially if you have a long journey awaiting you to return home. Happily, you can rest easy here for a couple of extra hours as the Aurbacher doesn't require you to check-out until midday. Very civilised.

Negative Reviews

Rooms are a little small

Numerous guests have commented on the size of the guest rooms, saying that the accommodations in general simply didn't afford enough space. The bathrooms came in for the most criticism: many visitors found it difficult to exit the shower without bumping into the toilet!

Reception closes at night

If you have an issue that needs dealing with then you'll have to hope it doesn't crop up between 22.00 and 06.30 - there's no-one manning reception during this time.

Wi-Fi is a little temperamental

Some guests have experienced issues logging-on to the free Wi-Fi during their stay here. Something to consider if you're someone who depends on the Internet for work.
