Positive Reviews

Convenient, West End location..

Guests enjoy the hotel's location near Vanderbilt University and Centennial Park, noting that there are several good restaurants within walking distance as well. Music Row is just a few blocks away, and the hotel also offers a free shuttle with a two-mile radius, which guests often use for a lift downtown.

Great beds and breakfast..

Guests often describe the rooms as very clean, with comfortable beds and plenty of space. Families particularly appreciate the added space and privacy of the chain's traditional two-room layout. Many enjoy waking up to the cooked-to-order breakfast, often complimenting the kitchen staff on the wide variety of nicely presented options, and the manager's receptions are widely popular as well.

A warm welcome..

Guests often comment that they are greeted with genuine smiles and offers of assistance from every member of the hospitality team. Many also feel that they are receiving "great value for money", noting that the hotel's many amenities and location just outside the pricier downtown area add up to competitive rates.

Negative Reviews

Tight spots in the parking garage..

Guests often comment that the parking garage features several tight corners and spaces surrounded by daunting concrete pillars. The key card machine at the entrance seems to be a bit temperamental as well. Guests with oversized vehicles might want to consider the valet option.

Getting old and tired..

Several guests note that the building is older, and the room decor is fairly worn and dated, particularly in the bathroom area. However, an interior renovation is scheduled for early 2016.

Too noisy for some..

Guests have reported several causes for a sleepless night, including noise from the nearby bar, thin walls, and an overly loud elevator bell.
