Positive Reviews

Ideal Location

This is a very impressive location, only minutes away from many of London's most renowned attractions A brief walk to Victoria train station, shows at the Victoria Palace Centre, lovely restaurants, shopping, pubs, and Buckingham Palace, as well as approximately thirty minutes' stroll to Parliament/Big Ben. A good budget hotel in a perfect city centre space. Excellent spot to book for touring the city!

Friendly, Helpful Staff

The staff here are remarkably polite and welcoming, pleasant and warm at arrival and throughout your stay Morning staff is always a pleasure to speak with on your way to breakfast Reception is exceptionally knowledgeable on the area and sights, and you won't have to ask them twice for anything Fantastic!

Breakfast Better Than Most

Enjoy the breakfast; you won't be disappointed! Perfectly prepared and promptly replenished, the items are fresh and plentiful in a delightful array of choices.

Negative Reviews

Outdated, Sluggish Rooms

Skips a lot of the basics, even for a budget hotel. Tired decor and a shabby entrance, cracked mirrors and poorly functioning showers No soap offered in the bathroom or tea/coffee making options in the room Rooms are too small for some with tiny bathrooms and lack of adequate eating space Towels were not changed daily and did not dry thoroughly on hooks provided, leaving them musty & sour for re-use Mattresses were uncomfortable with springs sticking out Could use a coat of paint in most areas .

Iffy Lift

If you must use the lift, use at your own risk Best bet is requesting a lower floor room whether you have trouble with stairs or not Lifts have continuous issues.

Intermittent Wi-Fi

Plan on the Wi-Fi crashing every ten minutes or less Anyone with important work to complete during their stay should seriously consider taking it elsewhere.
