Positive Reviews

Cheap and cheerful

Thanks to its competitive room rates, this motel reportedly offered fair value for money for those who only required the essentials of a place to sleep and wash. There was praise from many reviewers for the remodeled rooms with laminate flooring and flat-screen TVs. Many guests agreed the property wasn't pristine, but was more than satisfactorily clean and comfortable. The indoor pool was another bonus, although some visitors said the property looked unappealing from the outside or that the parking lot needed repairs.

Pleasant staff

Many reviewers were satisfied with the customer service, often describing personnel as friendly and helpful. A few critics, however, said staff were sometimes hard to locate or that complaint-handling was poor.

Handy roadside location

Motorists in particular appreciated the motel's location just off two freeways. Access to downtown Omaha was straightforward for attractions, shopping and dining. It took about 15 minutes by car, but there were also shopping options and eateries nearby.

Negative Reviews

Issues reported with cleanliness and maintenance

Dim lighting and slow-draining water were among the maintenance problems encountered by some reviewers. Occasionally critics took issue with the cleanliness standards, claiming there were rooms with stained linens and mattresses, accumulations of dust and hair, and floors could have been cleaner. A few reviewers claimed they encountered cockroaches.

Claims of annoying smells and noises

Light sleepers were sometimes irritated by noise from neighboring rooms and corridors which was audible through thin walls. Lingering tobacco odors in certain rooms were another nuisance faced by some guests.

Occasional safety concerns about the area

Critics occasionally expressed concerns that some fellow guests were up to no good or that non-guests sometimes loitered in the parking lot. There were also a few visitors who felt uneasy walking in the surrounding area after dark.
