Rooms are Spacious and Comfortable

Guest rooms at Araxa are spacious with comfortable beds and furnishings. The decor is simple and tasteful, the ambiance is relaxed, the views are amazing, rooms are well-stocked with amenities and everything is cleaned thoroughly.

Central but Quiet Location

Although the hotel is located close to the city centre and many of the popular attractions, the area is surprisingly quiet and relaxing Guests reported that they felt safe walking around the neighbourhood any time of day.

Friendly and Helpful Staff

Guests are greeted with a smile and checked in quickly and efficiently. This high level of service is consistent across the board from staff members who seem to genuinely care about the well-being of their guests. They are friendly, helpful and ready to solve any issues that arise in a professional manner.

Negative Reviews

There is a lot of Noise Around the Hotel

Guests reported that there is a lot of noise coming from the street outside the hotel and some said it was so noisy, they had to request a change of rooms and some guests even had to leave after their first night.

Poor-quality Food in the Restaurant

The food served in the restaurant is of poor-quality, is poorly-prepared and is likened to fast food. Guests have reported that breakfast is the same every morning and the food is limited during other mealtimes. Also reported was stale bread and a lack of healthy options such as fruits and vegetables.

Uncomfortable and Old-fashioned Guest Rooms

The furnishings in the guest rooms is old and tattered and guests have reported that it looks like it has not been updated since the hotel opened and a combination of uncomfortable beds and a lack of heat made it hard to get a good sleep. Also reported was broken showerheads and faucets, a musty smell and malfunctioning Wi-Fi.
