Two-star Langgura Baron Resort is only a two-minute walk from Cenang Beach and right across from the shopper's paradise of Cenang Mall. It offers simple accommodation suitable for budget travellers.

In addition to free parking and Wi-Fi, there is an outdoor pool. Additional optional facilities include air-conditioning, safe deposit box and a tour desk service.

It is a short walk to breakfast at a 24-hour fast food outlet. It is then a stroll of a few yards to the crepes and desserts at MY French Factory and to the relaxing surroundings of Yellow Beach Cafe. The Chinese cuisine of Qiang Shi Fu Seafood Restaurant is also close by.

Close to sea and shops

Cenang Mall and the beach are just across the road and only a couple of minutes or so walk from the hotel. This is a big bonus for guests. Guests travelling further afield and who are in need of a taxi are pleased to see that the charge for the trip is quoted in advance and this cost is always adhered to by the driver.

Let the party begin

The pool is an appreciated facility, particularly by children who can’t wait to jump in. Visiting grown-ups are equally thrilled to find that alcoholic purchases are duty-free at the neighbouring shops and these purchases are much cheaper than those at the airport.

Pleasing rooms

Guests are happy with the spacious dimensions of the rooms; also with the contents. Mineral water, towels, refrigerator and tea and coffee facilities are all supplied. The beds are very comfortable.

Negative Reviews

Not every picture tells a story

Publicity images in no way reflect the abundant presence of cockroaches and insects. The unwelcome smell in the lobby is difficult for guests to put into words and is extremely unpleasant.

Services are poor

There are only a minimal number of cups supplied in the room and no enthusiasm is displayed for supplying more. Guests report a similar situation when requesting additional pillows.

Grounds for improvement

There are no grounds surrounding the hotel, so there is nowhere for guests to wander around and relax. It is difficult to see how the situation can be rectified, but the lack of external areas is a disadvantage.
