Positive Reviews

Everyone is more than welcome.

The welcome at The Bankfoot Inn is warm and genuine and your hosts will make you — and your dogs if they are along for the trip — feel very much at home.

Historic but with high refurbishment standards.

Guests found the history of the inn to be delightful, and the rustic charm contrasted nicely with the comfortable and clean refurbished rooms.

Atmosphere of companionship.

With log fires, beamed ceilings, draught beer, cider and whiskies and some very good camaraderie to be found, The Bankfoot Inn’s pub experience is the real thing.

Negative Reviews

A few things to keep in mind.

Given the public rooms, there can be the potential for some mild noise in rooms in the weekend, some found them to be smaller than preferred, but still fine for a night and there are some stairs to navigate, however none of these points have been big issu
